Like the foundations of a house, your clinical foundation is the jumping board for your practice. If you consolidate the foundations, things fall into place. This workshop focuses on the fundamentals of Gestalt Therapy, offering a deeper look at awareness, phenomenology, and the organism/environment field. It is designed for practitioners currently practicing with Gestalt Therapy or creative minds who want to integrate Gestalt Therapy into their work.
The workshop will integrate theory with practice by focusing on theoretical delivery and experiential understanding through group processing and exercises. Though the emphasis is on individual therapy with adults, there are direct applications to different areas of work – working with children and family systems.
The workshop will draw from core texts in Gestalt Psychotherapy; Perls, F., Goodman, P. & Hefferline, R. (1951,1984). Gestalt Therapy: Excitement and Growth in the Human Personality, and Yontef, G. (1993). Awareness, Dialogue & Process.

Practitioners working with adults in the field of health and mental health, helping professions and related fields (such organizational settings, childcare/student care setting, physical therapy, art therapy, or other related fields).
